Jordan serves as the Executive Director of Lakeside QRU, Inc., managing all daily operations for the non-profit organization. Bringing four decades of emergency services experience to the table, his background provides our organization with a priceless level of expertise.
His career began over 40 years ago with the Explorer Scouts, leading to decades of diverse experience in the Fire Service, Search and Rescue, and international humanitarian aid. A highly qualified medical professional, Jordan is a National Registry Paramedic, a Certified Flight Paramedic, and a Critical Care Paramedic. His leadership background includes 30 years as a volunteer with Madera County Fire and a seat on the Board of Directors for the International Association of Flight and Critical Care Paramedics.
“The Lakeside QRU has been a part of my calling in this emergency field and I am honored to serve the community and our responders and personnel at this great organization. 8 years ago, I was hired as the first paid Executive Director of the Lakeside QRU. In that time, we have grown exponentially with personnel, call volume, expansion to neighboring districts, expanded our fleet and strengthened our leadership base. I will continue to focus on continuous improvement to build upon the QRU’s 40-year reputation of excellence. I am proud to be a servant leader of the Lakeside QRU”.
Outside of his professional life, Jordan is an avid outdoorsman who loves fishing, hunting, and watersports, and he enjoys traveling and camping with his wife.
Michael serves as the Operations Manager at the Lakeside QRU, where he oversees operations, logistics, facilities, fleet & medical equipment, training & development for EMS responders, and provides administrative support & leadership. He brings a diverse professional background, including 15 years as an electronic service technician & supervisor, 5 years in home automation installation, and 7 years as a USPS contractor in the Lakeside community.
Michael holds multiple credentials, including EMR, EMT, and Paramedic licenses, as well as certifications in EMS management and instruction.

Deeply committed to community service, Michael has volunteered for 8 years with the local fire department—3 as captain and training officer—and has supported the local food bank. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and is passionate about helping others.

Michael brings over a decade of volunteer EMT experience and four years of board leadership to the Lakeside QRU. As Board Chairman, he guides strategic decisions, fosters teamwork, and supports the organization’s mission to deliver high-quality emergency medical services.
With 35 years as a captain for American Airlines, and extensive experience in aviation management, Michael is skilled in leading diverse teams, managing complex operations, and making critical decisions under pressure. His aviation experience also includes flying for Alaskan Airlines, bush piloting in Alaska and serving as a flight instructor. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor’s in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Michael’s commitment to service and collaborative leadership as well as his appreciation for mentoring and teaching supports and strengthens the Lakeside QRU’s long-term impact on the community.
“I started at the QRU to gain hands on patient care experience as I was pursuing a degree as a Physician Assistant. After some years, I found working with a group of such dedicated professionals rewarding both professionally and mentally”.
When Michael is not flying airplanes or answering the call for aid as a volunteer QRU responder he pursues his Bible studies, spends time with his two daughters and five grandchildren, and tirelessly seeks to master his bowhunting and flyfishing skills.

Courtney serves as a Director on the QRU Board where she works in conjuction with the other Board members governing the organization's strategic direction and oversight.
Coutrney is the office manager for a local accounting firm serving non-profits, individuals and businesess. Her experience with the financial and medical billing of health care providers coupled with her experience serving on other nonprofit Boards provides the QRU with a unique perspective of the QRU's financial operations and supports a broader understanding and appreciation of Board governance.
"Serving on the Lakeside QRU Board allows me to be involved in the community with a nonprofit providing essential services to the communtiy. I enjoy being a small part keeping an ambulance service in a rural growing area".
Courtney takes pride in her involvement in the community as she contributed to shaping educational policies and managing budgets while serving three terms on the Somers School District Board (one term as Board Chairperson).
On her off duty hours, Courtney spends time with her spouse and adult children, cycling, exploring new places and reading good books.
